Mendez is a Political Science graduate from University of Puerto Rico, who later came to Florida and found his passion at the Florida Culinary Institute of West Palm Beach, FL. He is now the director of the hospitality program at Florida Technical College of Kissimmee. This program is divided into 3 categories: Bakery & Pastry, Culinary Arts and Bartending. Among his responsibilities, are the recruitment of professors, to encourage students, and to maintain operations in study areas. Guillermo Tamayo, aka DJ Memo, was born in Medellin Colombia during the mid 70’s, and lived there for 16 years. DJ Memo moved to Boston, Ma. where his passion for music began at age 17. In high school, he began playing music at parties. It is in New England where DJ Memo was spinning his music as a Disc Jockey. DJ Memo relocated to Florida, where his disc jockey career took a dramatic change working in well-known Night Clubs. His music variety made him one of the most known and recognized Latin DJs. MOst recent, DJ Memo entertains a large community of Hispanics with his music at Mojitos Ultra Lounge in Orlando. Los padres de Stuart emigraron de Puerto Rico se establecieron en los años 60’ en la Ciudad de Nueva York donde él nació. Allí Stuart recibió su educación primaria y secundaria. Él fue musicalmente influido por su tío Israel "Timbalero" Stuart. Stuart creció escuchando Hip-Hop y Rock. Él aprendió solo a tocar la trompeta y la mayoría de veces él cantaría para los tonos del Cantante de los Cantantes “Hector Lavoe” y la Universidad de la Salsa “El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico. Ahora Michael Stuart nos presenta una nueva faceta en su vida con un sello disquero de avanzada. Una producción basada en baladas súper exitosas en los años 70’, que luego fueron llevadas a la llamada Salsa Romántica en los años 80’. Chef Christopher Vargas has worked in Orlando the Majority of his culinary career. Working under, some of the top Chef’s in the country. In the past 2 years the standards have been set at a high level . “I possess a unique Latin Caribbean cooking style that sets me apart from other chefs in the industry. My Italian, and Latin heritage has given me an insight at two flavorful cooking styles that cannot be taught in school. Coupled with Japanese, European, and South Western influences my cooking provides a unique image, and desirable flare. In my years of experience I only use the finest, freshest and seasonal ingredients.
